Volunteers from Valley Medical Center joined the San Jose Firefighters on Blossom Hill Road at Almaden Ugg boots from 9am to 2pm on Saturday and held out a fire boot to cars as they stopped for traffic lights. Motorists were asked to make donations into the boots for the San Jose Firefighter Burn Foundation annual fundraising campaign”Fill the UGG Bailey Button .”
The “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign started Saturday November 27, 2010 and runs through the holidays. Donations can be made at any San Jose Fire Department building.
Funds raised from the San Jose Firefighter UGG Classic Tall Boots Foundation's “Fill the Boot” fundraising campaign are used to help burn victims who are treated at Valley Medical Center.
